Education Loans

Because Certificate Programs at Boston University’s Center for Professional Education are non-degree (not for credit), they are not eligible for federal student loans. Currently the only educational loan available to our students is Sallie Mae’s Smart Option Student Loan.

Students may also choose to work with a bank or credit union directly to obtain a private loan. Please note the school code for Boston University’s Center for Professional Education is 00213099.

Refund Policy

• Students who withdraw before the class starts will receive a full refund less a $300 non-refundable deposit.
• Students who withdraw after the start of class through the fifth day of class will receive a 50% refund, less $300 non-refundable deposit.
• Students who withdraw after the fifth day of class will not be eligible for a refund.
